BlueWorx is seeking an experienced Product Engineer to support new product development, product improvements, and emerging technology initiatives in Oklahoma City.
This position is ideal for an engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering, electronics, product design, and consumer product development. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, product management, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to improve product performance, quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
The Product Engineer will support the complete product development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through testing, validation, and product launch.
This role combines hands-on technical engineering with product analysis, supplier collaboration, quality improvement, and new technology development.
The ideal candidate will have experience with electronic products, Bluetooth, USB, RF technologies, or similar electronic systems, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Support new product development from concept through production launch
Improve existing products for performance, reliability, quality, and cost efficiency
Assist in defining product specifications and technical performance requirements
Evaluate product designs and identify opportunities for improvement
Support product testing, validation, and beta testing programs
Identify potential technical risks and develop solutions throughout the product lifecycle
Collaborate with engineering, product management, and business teams on technical initiatives
Support product documentation, engineering reports, and technical specifications
Support development and improvement of electronic products and components
Work with technologies such as Bluetooth, USB, RF, and related electronic systems
Evaluate emerging technologies for potential product applications
Assist with electronic product testing and performance analysis
Provide technical support to internal laboratories and testing teams
Troubleshoot product performance and quality issues
Support engineering efforts involving electronic design and product integration
Review and analyze product quality and performance data
Identify recurring product issues and recommend corrective actions
Support root-cause analysis and product improvement initiatives
Ensure products meet applicable regulatory and compliance requirements
Conduct competitive product analysis and benchmarking
Recommend improvements to product quality, manufacturability, and performance
Support ongoing engineering changes and product updates
Work closely with suppliers on product development, quality, and technical requirements
Assist with new vendor evaluations and supplier selection
Communicate engineering requirements and product specifications to suppliers
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical challenges
Support global engineering and product development initiatives
Coordinate with product management, quality, manufacturing, and testing teams
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
Strong understanding of electronics and electronic product design
Knowledge of engineering principles and product development processes
Familiarity with Bluetooth, USB, RF, or similar electronic technologies
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering documentation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external suppliers
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment
Previous experience in product engineering or new product development
Experience with consumer electronics or consumer product manufacturing
Experience supporting products through the complete development lifecycle
Familiarity with electronic product testing and validation
Experience working with suppliers and contract manufacturers
Knowledge of product quality systems and corrective action processes
Experience with competitive benchmarking and product performance evaluation
Exposure to international or global product development teams
Experience with emerging electronic technologies
