Shipping & Receiving Associate
Pay: $15-$17/hr
Multiple Shifts - Tulsa, OK
BlueWorx is seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate to support warehouse and logistics operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining inventory organization, and ensuring products and documentation are processed accurately and safely.
Key Responsibilities of Shipping and Receiving
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage and verify materials against purchase orders and work orders
- Label and organize materials, tools, and inventory within the warehouse
- Pull and distribute materials for production, sales orders, and job sites
- Prepare and package materials for domestic and international shipments
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
- Assist with inventory accuracy and material tracking
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse protocols
Qualifications of Shipping and Receiving
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Basic computer and inventory system knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
Physical Requirements of Shipping and Receiving
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 45-50 pounds
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
