BlueWorx is seeking a dependable Mechanical Assembler to join a growing manufacturing team in Oklahoma City. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and are looking to build a career in assembly, production, and industrial manufacturing.

Position Overview

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for preparing parts and components for sub-assemblies and full valve assembly operations. This position supports the production process by cleaning, organizing, assembling, and verifying components while ensuring quality standards and production requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean parts and components using parts washers, solvents, and approved cleaning chemicals
  • Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing assigned duties
  • Prepare parts and components for the next stage of the assembly process
  • Assemble basic sub-components and valve assemblies according to specifications
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
  • Verify part quantities and quality against work orders and production requirements
  • Identify, organize, and maintain accountability for parts and materials
  • Complete required paperwork, logs, and production documentation accurately
  • Support production goals while maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Operate golf carts as needed to transport materials and complete assigned tasks
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality required
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Basic mechanical aptitude preferred

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying materials
