Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM-2:30 PM


BlueWorx Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician – Product Analysis to join a growing manufacturing team in Oklahoma City. This position is ideal for mechanically inclined professionals who enjoy troubleshooting, testing, and analyzing products to identify root causes and drive continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience working in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to analyze product failures while collaborating with Quality and Production teams to improve product performance, reliability, and overall quality.


Position Overview

The Quality Technician – Product Analysis is responsible for disassembling, testing, troubleshooting, and analyzing products to determine the root cause of failures. This position plays a key role in supporting the Quality Management System by evaluating warranty returns, validating corrective actions, maintaining test data integrity, and ensuring products consistently meet company and customer quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, inspect, test, and troubleshoot products to identify root causes of failures
  • Perform product analysis on warranty returns and rejected units
  • Conduct testing using specialized testing equipment and software
  • Collect, document, and communicate product failure data to Quality and Production teams
  • Support the development and implementation of corrective actions and quality improvements
  • Ensure all testing procedures and quality standards are followed
  • Monitor and maintain the integrity of test data and production records
  • Initiate product rejection processes for units that fail to meet specifications
  • Identify additional hardware or manufacturing steps required to meet quality standards
  • Maintain lot integrity and product traceability throughout the testing process
  • Complete preventive maintenance on testing equipment and department machinery
  • Utilize computer systems for testing, reporting, data entry, and communication
  • Support quality projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Strong mechanical aptitude required
  • Previous manufacturing or remanufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Basic computer skills, including word processing and database applications
  • Knowledge of machinery maintenance and troubleshooting preferred
  • Product knowledge of starters and alternators required
  • Experience using testing equipment preferred
  • Understanding of OSHA, EPA, and workplace safety regulations
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards and quality objectives preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and repetitive hand movements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and testing equipment
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing and quality production facility
  • Exposure to machinery, testing equipment, and industrial manufacturing processes
  • Moderate to high noise levels typical of manufacturing operations
