Manufacturing Lead
Pay: $22.00/hour
Shift: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Location: Tulsa, OK
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Lead to oversee production operations, support team members, and ensure high-quality products are manufactured safely and efficiently. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone with manufacturing experience who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, training employees, and keeping production running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Set up and adjust molding presses and other production equipment to meet production requirements.
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity goals are achieved.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Complete and verify production documentation for accuracy.
- Train and support production operators on equipment, processes, and safety procedures.
- Coordinate materials, tooling, and production schedules to maintain workflow.
- Communicate production updates and shift information with supervisors and incoming leads.
- Assist with equipment setup, material movement, and machine operation as needed.
- Fill in for the Manufacturing Supervisor when necessary.
- Promote Lean manufacturing principles and maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or production leadership experience.
- Experience operating or setting up production equipment; molding press experience is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.
- Previous experience training or mentoring production employees is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for 12-hour shifts.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, twist, squat, reach, and climb stairs or ladders as needed.
- Comfortable performing repetitive motions and operating manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to work in a hot manufacturing environment.
Work Environment
- Industrial manufacturing facility.
- Exposure to heat, machinery, and bright lighting.
- This is a Safety-Sensitive Position as defined by Oklahoma law.
