BlueWorx Staffing is seeking experienced Welders and Fitters for multiple opportunities with leading manufacturing and fabrication companies. We are hiring professionals with experience in structural steel, pipe, pressure vessels, heavy equipment, and custom fabrication. Whether you're a MIG, TIG, Flux Core, Stick Welder, Structural Fitter, Pipe Fitter, or Combination Welder, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities of a Welder

• Perform MIG, TIG, Flux Core, and/or Stick welding based on project requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, and fabrication prints.
• Fit, tack, and assemble components to meet quality and dimensional specifications.
• Fabricate structural steel, pipe, plate, and custom assemblies.
• Operate fabrication equipment including grinders, torches, saws, and other shop tools.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and conformance to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following OSHA and company safety standards.
• Work independently or as part of a fabrication team to meet production schedules.

Qualifications of a Welder

• 2+ years of welding or fitting experience preferred.
• Experience in one or more of the following:
  • Structural Welding
  • Structural Fitting
  • Pipe Welding
  • Pipe Fitting
  • MIG Welding
  • TIG Welding
  • Flux Core (FCAW)
  • Stick (SMAW)
  • Pressure Vessel Fabrication
  • Heavy Equipment Fabrication
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Experience using measuring tools including tape measures, squares, calipers, and levels.
• Ability to pass a weld test if required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Preferred Experience of a Welder

• AWS certifications (a plus but not required)
• Multi-process welding experience
• Crane or forklift experience
• Plasma cutting, oxy-fuel cutting, or fabrication experience
