Responsibilities of Header Welder
- Weld headers according to blueprints, specifications, and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
- Inspect completed welds for defects and make necessary corrections.
- Fit and tack parts prior to final welding.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
Qualifications of Header Welder
- Proven experience as a header welder or in a similar welding role.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
Preferred Experience Job Title: Header Welder
- Must be able to pass a 2G horizontal test — single bevel, MIG stringer, Flux-core fill and cap.
