Shift: 1st Shift: Mon–Thurs, 6:00am–6:00pm
2nd Shift: Mon–Thurs, 6:00pm–6:00am (+$2 shift differential)
3rd Shift: Fri–Sun, 5:30am–6:00pm (with 4-hour premium)

Professional Summary of Machinist
BlueWorx is looking for a Machinist to join our team in Tulsa, OK. This role sets up, programs, and operates various types of CNC machines and / Mill or lathes to perform operations on individual or quantity production, tooling, maintenance, and/or experimental parts.
Responsibilities of Machinist
- Operates fabrication machinery to produce parts used in manufacturing processes.
- Reads and interprets blueprints and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and specifications for parts.
- Selects the appropriate cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials to be used on machines.
- Examines and measures completed units and parts to identify any defects and to ensure units conform with predetermined specifications; adjusts machine controls to resolve production errors.
- Inspects machinery for any needed repairs; performs minor repairs within expertise.
- Maintains cleanliness and safety of work area.
- Complies with applicable safety standards and regulations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications of Machinist
- Ability to operate various types of machine tools to perform progressive machining.
- Ability to read blueprints and plans.
- Excellent mechanical skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to stand and bend for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Preferred Experience Job Title: Machinist
- Vocational/technical school training and apprenticeship required, or a minimum of 1 year of experience with CNC boring mill/lathe machines, including proper setup and operation.
