CNC Machinist – BlueWorx

About the Role
BlueWorx Staffing is hiring an experienced CNC Machinist for a well-established manufacturing partner in the Oklahoma City area. This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist looking for stable, first-shift hours and competitive pay with a growing company.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines to produce precision parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Write, edit, and optimize G-code programs to run new and existing jobs
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Troubleshoot and adjust programs, offsets, and tooling to maintain tight tolerances
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep a clean, safe work area
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience
- Strong working knowledge of CNC programming and G-code required
- Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and availability for 1st shift hours
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent; machining certificate a plus
