Job Summary

BlueWorx Staffing is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Account Manager Trainee to join our growing team. This role is designed for individuals looking to build a long-term career in the staffing industry by learning both talent acquisition and account management.

As an Account Manager Trainee, you will primarily focus on recruiting, sourcing, interviewing, and placing qualified candidates while supporting our existing client relationships. You will work closely with experienced Account Managers and Sales to understand our clients' hiring needs, develop talent pipelines, and deliver exceptional service to both clients and candidates.

As your experience grows, you will have the opportunity to take on additional client-facing responsibilities and develop into a full Account Manager.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Source, recruit, and screen qualified candidates using job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and direct outreach.

  • Conduct phone interviews and evaluate candidates based on technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with active and passive candidates.

  • Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communication throughout the hiring process.

  • Maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.

  • Work closely with Account Managers to understand client hiring requirements and recruiting priorities.

  • Assist with employee onboarding, orientation, and follow-up after placement.

  • Maintain accurate candidate records and activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

  • Stay informed on local labor market trends, compensation, and recruiting best practices.

  • Deliver an exceptional experience for both clients and candidates through timely communication and professional service.

  • Support business development efforts through market research, lead generation, and client support as needed.

  • Participate in ongoing training to develop recruiting, staffing, and account management skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Professional demeanor with strong relationship-building skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn recruiting software and ATS platforms.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
