We are seeking a skilled Fitter / Welder with strong mechanical aptitude to join our team in Tulsa, OK. Responsibilities of Fitter / Welder
- Perform welding and fitting duties according to specifications and work instructions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications.
- Fit, align, and prepare metal components for welding and final assembly.
- Perform final assembly of equipment and components as needed.
- Inspect completed welds and assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Make adjustments and corrections to ensure proper fit and function.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals.
- Perform other duties related to welding, fitting, and assembly as assigned.
Qualifications of Fitter / Welder
- Previous experience as a Fitter/Welder or in a similar welding and fabrication role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
- Ability to perform both welding and fitting work.
- Comfortable performing final assembly in addition to welding responsibilities.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to use common hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Positive attitude and dependable work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Experience Fitter / Welder:
- Experience with industrial equipment, machinery, or heavy fabrication.
- Experience performing final assembly of mechanical equipment.
- Experience fitting, aligning, and welding structural or mechanical components.
- Experience with multiple welding processes is a plus.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
