Tool Crib Attendant
Pay: $20/hour
Shift: 1st Shift, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Professional Summary of Tool Crib Attendant
BlueWorx is looking for a dependable and organized Tool Crib Attendant to join a growing manufacturing operation in Claremore, OK. This position will work closely with Operations, Engineering, and Procurement to ensure the tooling and recurring materials needed for production are available when required. The Tool Crib Attendant will help manage inventory, coordinate with suppliers, support tooling purchases, develop kitting strategies, and maintain an organized and efficient tool crib.
Responsibilities of Tool Crib Attendant
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotes (RFQs) to suppliers for tooling requirements.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing and lead times.
- Monitor tooling stock levels and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Help maintain appropriate inventory levels while reducing unnecessary inventory.
- Support tooling requirements for new and existing manufacturing programs.
- Develop kitting programs where possible to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace so tooling and materials can be located quickly.
- Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and Procurement to anticipate tooling needs.
Qualifications of Tool Crib Attendant
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with ERP systems.
- Knowledge of manufacturing tooling.
- Ability to read engineering and planning documents that define tooling requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
- Ability to move throughout a manufacturing facility and navigate stairs.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Preferred Experience Tool Crib Attendant:
- Previous experience in procurement, inventory, tooling, or a related manufacturing position.
- Experience managing tooling or materials within a manufacturing environment.
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
