Journeyman Electrician – BlueWorx

About the Role
BlueWorx is hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for a well-established electrical contractor in the Oklahoma City area. This role is focused on commercial installation projects — a great opportunity for a licensed electrician looking for stable, first-shift hours and competitive pay with a growing company.
Responsibilities
- Install electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures on commercial construction projects in accordance with code
- Read and interpret commercial blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate connections for new commercial builds and tenant finish-out work
- Install panels, transformers, lighting, and other commercial electrical equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local commercial codes
- Coordinate with project supervisors, general contractors, and other trades to keep jobs on schedule
- Maintain tools and equipment, and follow all safety protocols on the jobsite
- Complete accurate documentation of work performed
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license (State of Oklahoma) required
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on journeyman-level experience, with commercial installation experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of NEC codes and standards
- Ability to read and work from commercial blueprints and electrical schematics
- Comfortable working with hand and power tools, testing equipment, and lifts
- Reliable transportation and availability for 1st shift hours
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
