Pay: $28–$35/hr DOE

Professional Summary of Shop Floor Inspector
We are seeking an experienced Shop Floor Inspector with a strong background in the energy industry. Ideal candidates will have experience with pipeline construction, meter stations, compressor stations, skidded units, or similar energy-related projects. ASME pressure vessel shop experience will also be considered.
Responsibilities of Shop Floor Inspector
- Perform inspections to ensure products meet quality and industry standards.
- Review drawings, specifications, procedures, and inspection requirements.
- Conduct and document inspections throughout fabrication and construction.
- Identify defects and quality issues and communicate findings to the appropriate teams.
- Work closely with welding, fabrication, and production teams to maintain quality standards.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes and standards.
- Support quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications of Shop Floor Inspector
- Previous experience in the energy industry required.
- Strong preference for experience with:
- Pipeline construction
- Meter stations
- Compressor stations
- Skidded units
- Station construction
- ASME pressure vessel shop experience will also be considered.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with production teams.
- Certifications such as NACE, CWI, API, or ASNT strongly preferred.
Preferred Experience Shop Floor Inspector:
Energy Industry, Pipeline Construction, Meter Stations, Compressor Stations, Skidded Units, Station Construction, ASME Pressure Vessel Fabrication, NACE, CWI, API, or ASNT certifications.
