Professional Summary of Production Supervisor
We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Production Supervisor to lead weekend manufacturing operations in a modern, climate-controlled fabrication environment. This position is highly visible on the shop floor and is responsible for ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and employee performance remain on track.

Responsibilities of Production Supervisor
- Lead and coordinate daily production activities in a fabrication environment
- Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor and address issues in real time
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to improve engagement and performance
- Promote and enforce safe work practices and company safety standards
- Prioritize workflow to meet production schedules and customer commitments
- Monitor and maintain quality standards and production specifications
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, processes, and productivity
- Hold employees accountable for performance, productivity, attendance, and safety
- Encourage cross-training and continued employee development
- Foster a respectful, professional, and team-oriented work environment
- Collaborate with scheduling, maintenance, and management to keep production aligned
- Help troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing operation
Qualifications of Production Supervisor
- Previous experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Previous leadership experience as a Production Supervisor, Team Lead, or similar role
- Hands-on experience with:
- Laser cutting equipment
- Press brakes
- Welding operations
- Robotic welding systems
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and workplace safety
- Ability to motivate employees and drive results through clear expectations and accountability
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment
- Willingness to lead from the floor and remain actively engaged with the team
Preferred Experience Production Supervisor:
- Experience with Controlled Warehouse systems
- Experience with Infor ERP
- Experience with AS400
- Experience with Paycor timekeeping/payroll systems
- Previous weekend or alternative-shift leadership experience
- Experience in a high-volume fabrication or manufacturing environment
