Professional Summary of CNC Mill Operator/Programmer
We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Operator/Programmer to operate and program a HAAS VF7 CNC mill. The ideal candidate will be comfortable programming directly at the machine, making edits, and producing quality parts from prints and specifications. This position is located in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities of CNC Mill Operator/Programmer
- Set up and operate a HAAS VF7 CNC mill.
- Program CNC machines directly at the machine.
- Create, edit, and modify CNC programs as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and cutting parameters.
- Perform machine setups and make necessary adjustments.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional requirements.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications of CNC Mill Operator/Programmer
- Previous CNC milling experience required.
- Strong CNC programming experience required.
- Must be able to program and make edits at the machine.
- Experience with HAAS CNC equipment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, and setups.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
Preferred Experience CNC Mill Operator/Programmer:
HAAS VF7 experience, CNC mill programming, machine setup, and CNC machining.
