Professional Summary of Maintenance Supervisor
Supervises and aids with the planning, directing, and coordinating activities of associates engaged in maintaining and repairing structures of buildings, machinery, and grounds.
Responsibilities of Maintenance Supervisor
- Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot equipment problems while instructing and supervising repairs.
- Equipment Design: Design, modify, and install equipment as needed.
- Workflow Management: Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Process Improvement: Suggest changes in conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of the work crew.
- Procedure Optimization: Recommend and implement new operational procedures.
- Department Coordination: Confers with other supervisors and management to coordinate activities of the department.
Qualifications of Maintenance Supervisor
- Experience: 2+ years of related experience.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems.
- Leadership: Proven experience leading and training employees.
- Work Ethic: Strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork.
- Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to build strong relationships.
- Organization: Demonstrated prioritization and time management skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Experience Job Title:
- Education: Some college is preferred.
