BlueWorx is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations in a high-volume, multi-site manufacturing environment in Oklahoma City.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large warehouse facilities (100,000+ sq. ft.), inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehouse layout optimization, and Lean manufacturing processes.

This position requires a strong leader who can manage personnel, improve warehouse efficiency, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure materials are delivered to production operations safely and on time.

Position Overview

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing warehouse operations across multiple facilities. This includes oversight of receiving, shipping, storage, inventory management, material handling, and distribution.

This individual will lead warehouse teams, develop operational improvements, manage departmental performance, and work closely with manufacturing and supply chain leadership to ensure efficient material flow throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, storage, inventory control, and material distribution

  • Manage warehouse operations in a high-volume, multi-site environment

  • Develop and maintain efficient warehouse layouts, storage systems, and material flow

  • Ensure accurate inventory levels for raw materials, components, and finished goods

  • Supervise physical inventories and inventory accuracy initiatives

  • Coordinate timely delivery of materials to production lines

  • Ensure accurate, timely, and damage-free shipment of finished products

  • Optimize warehouse space utilization and material-handling equipment

  • Identify and implement improvements to warehouse processes and procedures

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, supervise, and develop warehouse personnel

  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development

  • Assign daily responsibilities and establish operational priorities

  • Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide coaching

  • Address employee concerns and resolve operational issues

  • Promote accountability, teamwork, productivity, and continuous improvement

  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment

Process Improvement & Performance Management

  • Implement Lean manufacturing principles to improve warehouse efficiency

  • Monitor warehouse performance metrics and departmental KPIs

  • Develop and maintain departmental scorecards

  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, inventory accuracy, and material flow

  • Implement improvements to warehouse layouts, storage solutions, and equipment utilization

  • Maintain strong housekeeping and 6S standards

  • Ensure warehouse operations support plant and corporate performance goals

  • Manage departmental resources and support budgetary objectives

Safety, Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and operating procedures

  • Maintain warehouse processes and documentation in accordance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 quality management systems

  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of materials

  • Maintain safe operating practices for warehouse equipment and personnel

  • Coordinate with production, quality, supply chain, and other departments to resolve operational challenges

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of warehouse management experience in a multi-warehouse environment

  • Experience managing large warehouse operations of 100,000 square feet or larger

  • Strong background in inventory management, shipping, receiving, and material distribution

  • Experience designing or improving warehouse layouts for maximum efficiency

  • Knowledge of warehouse storage systems and material-handling equipment

  • Lean manufacturing experience required

  • Proven ability to lead and develop warehouse teams

  • Experience managing warehouse performance metrics, KPIs, and operational improvements

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills

  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Experience with computerized materials management systems

  • Ability to read and understand English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field

  • Experience supporting manufacturing or production operations

  • Experience with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001

  • APICS or Purchasing Management certification

  • Experience implementing warehouse efficiency and space-utilization improvements

  • Experience managing warehouse budgets and departmental performance

  • Strong background in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
