About the Role
Blueworx Staffing is hiring an experienced Brazer for a growing manufacturing facility in the OKC area. You’ll join a team that values quality work, safety, and showing up for each other.
What You’ll Do
- Braze copper, brass, steel, and aluminum components using torch methods
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and assembly drawings
- Prepare parts for brazing by cleaning, fitting, and fluxing joints
- Select the right filler metals and flux for each job
- Inspect finished joints for quality and perform leak or pressure testing as required
- Set up, adjust, and maintain torches, regulators, and related equipment
- Meet production goals while keeping quality standards high
- Follow all safety procedures and keep a clean, organized work area
What We’re Looking For
- [1–2]+ years of brazing experience in a manufacturing or production setting
- Hands-on experience with torch brazing; silver brazing experience is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and use basic measuring tools (calipers, tape measure)
- Strong attention to detail and a steady hand
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [50] lbs
Nice to Have
- HVAC, refrigeration, or coil manufacturing experience
- Brazing certification (AWS or company-specific)
