ASME Welder – 2nd Shift
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM; Friday, 4:00 PM–1:30 AM; Saturdays as required, 4:00 PM–9:00 PM
Pay: Pay up to $35 DOE
We're looking for an experienced ASME Welder to join our team assembling and welding custom bladder tanks, strainers, and valve products. You'll work with MIG and Flux Core welding to produce watertight welds that meet ASME codes and strict pressure/tolerance requirements. All welds are hydro tested and occasionally x-ray tested in-house. This role requires strong attention to detail and a high level of craftsmanship.
Test Required: 3G Mig root / Flux fill in cap on 1/2 inch plate
Responsibilities of ASME Welder :
- Weld products to meet ASME code specifications and pressure tolerances.
- Complete assignments based on production needs.
- Collaborate with Production, Materials, and Engineering teams to hit quality and delivery goals.
- Perform minor machine/tool adjustments and maintenance.
- Test and verify weld quality, including hydro and x-ray testing processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation.
- Follow safety protocols, including PPE use and 5S standards.
Requirements of ASME Welder
- 2+ years of welding experience.
- Must pass an ASME weld test.
- Forklift certified (or able to become certified).
- Familiarity with welding tools, procedures, and blueprints.
- Manufacturing material handling experience.
- Experience with pressure vessels, boilers, or tank fabrication ideal.
