BlueWorx Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a growing manufacturing team. This individual will play an important role in keeping production equipment and facility systems operating safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, enjoy problem-solving, and have experience performing preventative maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
Develop, implement, and maintain a shop-wide preventative maintenance schedule.
Provide timely maintenance support to production teams to address equipment issues.
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements.
Follow all safety procedures and established maintenance best practices.
Be available for overtime as needed due to machinery breakdowns and repairs.
Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Dependable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Previous experience maintaining and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.
PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and equipment reliability practices.
