Responsibilities:
Interpret technical drawings to set up machinery.
Use software to model cutting paths and program machines.
Conduct quality assurance tests to ensure products meet specifications.
Adjust machine settings to optimize production while maintaining quality.
Select appropriate tools for cutting various materials and program machines.
Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues as they arise.
Perform basic maintenance like cleaning and sharpening machines.
Train new employees on CNC machine operations and programs.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
High School Diploma or GED.
Proficient in G-Codes, M-Codes, and editing.
Ability to obtain personal tools within two weeks of employment.
Experience with various component sizes and precision measuring instruments such as calipers, depth mics, DD mics, bore gauges, etc.
Strong analytical and math skills.
Familiarity with Fanuc 21Ti - 31Ti Lathe controls and Haas Pre-NGC controls.
Experience with Solidworks / Master Cam or Fusion 360 / Autodesk, both lathe and mill.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GDT.
Independent worker who follows directions closely.
Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical or logistical issues.
Able to stand for extended periods.
Availability to work weekends and overtime.
Excellent communication skills and eagerness to learn.
Ability to lift/push/pull over 50 pounds.
Desired Knowledge and Skills:
Familiarity with fluid power.
3-4 years of prior experience.
